I love your MC! I love how she thinks she is so confident, but as soon as she feels the slightest bit rejected, she wants to fix herself... Awesome voice.
Ah.... I got to the end and was like Wait, what now? What does he say to her?
And can I just say that I love boys like this... sigh...

Avery is so real! She shines through in this scene, and you really get a sense for who she is and how she thinks. Now, what's up with Holden?!?!?!?!
Oh, I love honorable guys like Holden!!! Or at least I think he's honorable, lol. I love Avery's thought process on what in the hell's wrong with him that he won't sleep with her, lol!
I love the awkwardness at the start! it is so real ! And I love your MC voice and her thought process. Great snippet.
What happens?! I was so hooked in and then it just ended. This was really really good. I also like Avery's thought process and the opening paragraph made me laugh! Awe and see I envy you Holden. He seems like such a sweetie-pie, when the majority of my male characters are jerks LOL!

He seems cool. She sounds like a jerk. BUT [and it's a big but] I actually read all the way through it. I don't do that for most.
I was hoping that rather than showing her that he is actually a girl, that he would explain that he didn't want to rush into a relationship...with a whore.
