Title: Crossed Out

Stephanie Stewart didn't ask for her gift of guiding the deceased to the other side but she's stuck with it. Why can't dead people just follow that bright light and leave her alone? When Mr. Undead wants to use her special talent for his own evil purposes, her little gift becomes a major liability.
My Thoughts:

In the past couple years I've read a ton of Urban Fantasy novels and I can't stress how important "voice" is in these novels. You have to feel like the main character is your best friend and you want her to overcome all of problems that arise. Ms. Baccellia has done a wonderful job of making Stephanie jump off the pages and gave her a quirky flaw. Eczema. Ha Ha. I know, right. It kind of reminded me of "Buffy" the movie, remember how she got cramps when a vampire was near...LOL. But it was great! When Stephanie's leg starts to itch, watch out!Oh, yeah, Stephanie also paints crosses to help with her ghost problems.

They kind of made me think of this:

Now, on to the boys. There are two boys in this book. One is the mysterious new guy that is unbelievably hot, and the other is the best friend. Both are great, and totally pull you into the story. There is also a creepy shrink that has the same creepy cross painting obsession as Stephanie, which adds to the tensions and mystery.

I enjoyed this book. It had all the things I like: Boys, Mystery, Creepiness and Supernatural Ability!
