I do like to switch back and forth between real books and ereaders though just to have some variety.
LOL cheating is bad. :P I have to say that I do have a bad habit of flipping to the last page just to see how long a book is and at the same time my eye just happens to catch the last line of the book. Bad habit. :P I like how I know how much more I have to read with my ereader without having to spoil anything.Cialina at Muggle-Born.nethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15149012619221886587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5655368363508700525.post-76921806405425394482010-12-19T16:33:41.830-05:002010-12-19T16:33:41.830-05:00NOOOOOO. I'm done with this series if he did...And Yes I frantically skipped to the back to hunt for Edward dialog and everything was once again right with the world. LOL

You wouldn't believe how many people I've talked to about that book did the same thing!! And I ...We had our Christmas yesterday - step kids. And I got a Kobo reader. I've already purchased 6 new books and read one and half. I LOVE it already. Can't imagine life without it. Love the convenience of buying a book right away that I've heard about. Also takes up much less room than all those hard covers on the shelf! And it's so easy to hold and read with one hand, or just leave on the table while you eat lunch.
But, I'm weird in that I read books one page at a time. I do NOT skip to the end! (my step daughter does this and I was horrified)TerryLynnJohnsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08380207155608982319noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5655368363508700525.post-260592226442288202010-12-19T14:35:45.245-05:002010-12-19T14:35:45.245-05:00I flipped through on my friends ereader (well she ...I flipped through on my friends ereader (well she has an ipad - I know that is so not the same comparison) but I would imagine you can put in a page number. I download tons of ebooks in .pdf formats for my laptop or cellphone to read and I'm able to skip through when I read them that way. I'm still trying to decide if I'm ready to treat myself to the ereader and which one I want. I'm looking at the nook.LM Prestonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16624508396760965680noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5655368363508700525.post-89669598732266726412010-12-19T13:34:08.414-05:002010-12-19T13:34:08.414-05:00I plan on getting a Kindle after Christmas (it'...I plan on getting a Kindle after Christmas (it's going to be a Christmas gift from the BF). I want it so I can read the ebook ARCs I get and also I can borrow ebooks from the public library here which makes it that much easier because I don't have to drive back and forth and remember to bring them back on time. LOL

I think I will still always love to read an actual book because I love the feel of the pages and the ability to flip back to reread sections like you stated. But also I mark pages with sticky notes sometimes (I hear the Kindle allows you to highlight sections etc - so I might like it better then some of the other ereaders that are out there).

I'll be checking back to see what others say about this topic. :)Chrystalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17960209705110683101noreply@blogger.com
